Description

Being vulnerable is something that many people feel very uncomfortable with and quite understandably. We have historically been told to “put on a brave face” or “don’t give yourself away”, meaning that we should not put ourselves out there in case we are “picked off”.

The reality is that a lack of vulnerability leads to a lack of trust and this prevents us from being able to connect to others and therefore limits our ability to build strong relationships. The foundation of all relationships is trust and without strong relationships, we simply cannot achieve what we are capable of.

The purpose of this module is to create a platform for people to openly trust, and therefore, allow themselves to be more vulnerable. It explains why some people are comfortable with trusting others whilst some are not. It also provides the context as to why trust and vulnerability are important to our ability to succeed.
